India's First Forest Healing Centre India's first forest healing center open in Uttarakhand's Ranikhet The country's first forest healing center based in the concept of making people health by bringing them into direct contact with nature was opened to the public on Sunday at Kalika near Ranikhet. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese technique of forest bathing the healing center has been developed by the research wing of Uttarakhand Forest Department. Spread over an area of around 13 acres, the center was inaugurated by noted environmentalist from Ranikhet Joginder Bisht. The forest healing center maintains a register in which visitors can share their experiences.
