SANSAD TV: A merger of Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha Tv

  • The parliament of India have merged two of the Tv channels namely, Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha TV into an integrated channel "Sansad TV".
  • LS TV. launched in July 2006, is the first parliamentary channel owned and operated by Lok Sabha Secretariat.
  • RS Tv is owned and operated by upper House of Parliament.
  • Apart from telecasting live proceedings, RS TV also brings analysis of parliamentary affairs.


  • This new platform will continue to live telecast the house proceedings, pack news and the current affairs programme Hindi as well as in English languages.
  • The Rajya Sabha TV establishment is run from the rented public property near the Talkatora stadium. Now this establishment will be merged with the infrastructure of Lok Sabha TV in order to create a new entity.
  • The former textiles secretary , Ravi Kapoor, has been appointed as the CEO of the Sansad Tv on a contract basis for a period of one year.

India's largest two-wheeler manufacturing plant       OLA to setup largest scooter factory in Tamil Nadu OlaCabs, popularly known as Ola, is a mobile app for personal transportation in India. Ola started as an online cab aggregator in Mumbai, now based out of Bangalore and is among the fastest growing business in India.
